LinksFriends of Animals Friends of Animals, Inc. is an international, non-profit, membership organization, incorporated in the state of New York in 1957. FoA works to protect animals from cruelty, abuse and institutionalized exploitation. FoA's efforts protect and preserve animals and their habitats around the world. Their goal is to achieve an ethic of respect in people's relations with animals, wild and domestic, at home and abroad. Cetacean Freedom Network (CFN) The Cetacean Freedom Network (CFN) is a conglomerate of anti-whaling and anti-captivity organizations around the world. Although each organization quite often has their own special projects, they are one when it comes to putting an end to the abuse and captivity of cetaceans. It is the focus of CFN to make the general public aware of the tragedy of aquariums and theme parks who house cetaceans. Humane Society of the United States Founded in 1954, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) envisions a world in which people satisfy the physical and emotional needs of domestic animals; protect wild animals and their environments; and change their relationships with other animals, evolving from exploitation and harm to respect and compassion. International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) IFAW's mission is to improve the welfare of wild and domestic animals throughout the world by reducing commercial exploitation of animals, protecting wildlife habitats, and assisting animals in distress. Kingdom Keepers: Animal Rescue & Sanctuary Kingdom Keepers celebrates the animals who survive the odds, and the people who help them along the way. Orange County Coastkeeper The Orange County CoastKeeper is a membership and volunteer based group providing citizens living within the various watersheds of the coast the opportunity to be actively involved in the programs efforts to preserve, enhance and restore the health of the Orange County Coast. OrcaLab A land-based whale research station nestled against the evergreen forest of Hanson Island in the waters of the "Inside Passage" of Northern Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
